GQ presents a funny new editorial in their August 2011 issue. Shot by Peggy Sirota and starring Kate Upton, comedian Ken Jeong, best known for his roles in the two Hang Over movies, crashes each one of the shots. Otherwise, you also get to see the latest Fall 2011 gear in the shoot.
Sony presents the new Cybershot TX55 digital camera, the world’s thinnest antishake camera. While we have been concentrating on the latest micro 4/3 cameras for the most part, it is always nice having a thin and powerful, as well as light, companion with you at all times. The new TX55 seems to perfectly fit that profile. The 16.2 megapixel camera can shoot HD and 3D video and shoots impressive 12 megapixel images while filming video. Other great features include the thin OLED touchscreen, waterproof features, and just overall image quality.
Converse continues its experimentation with lightweight silhouettes as it welcomes the Straight Shooter for Summer 2011. Much like the previously shown model , this new silhouette features a Lunarlon foam drop-in, which is wrapped in a rubber midsole maintaining Converse’s telltale vulcanized look while still featuring new technology engineered for increased comfort and support. This initial offering boasts two duck canvas colorways (natural and black) and features nickel eyelets and a monochrome leather heel stay. Look for them now through Undefeated.
In what marks Eric Koston’s first signature shoe model for Nike SB, this SB Koston One style has just been unveiled in a cool, stylish blue on blue colorway. Having removed the sneaker’s midsole, the insole has been lined with a Lunerlon material to provide even more support. With a skateboard-specific tread to enhance grip when riding and neoprene collar for improved comfort around the ankle, the sneaker also features a suede upper with seamless lining. BEDWIN & THE HEARTBREAKERS put their spin on a pair of Converses with the “Tom,” an upcoming release from the brand’s new collection for Fall/Winter 2011. Keeping things simple, the “Tom” takes on a black and white colorway, with side zipper detailing and a rubber-free toe, giving them a slight change of pace from your usual Chuck Taylor silhouette.
